Mr Delannoy joins the team led by Francis Fleuereta, and will be responsible for driving sales of Hyundai HIE forklift products. With extensive experience in both construction and agricultural equipment, his background in mechanical engineering and business management is perfectly suited to the role.
Says Mr Delannoy of his new position: “I bring more than 13 years of experience to this role, with strong skills in technical, sales, marketing management and strategy. I have acquired a high level of technical know-how within the Construction and Agricultural sector in both the French and international arenas. These are strengths that can now be used to strengthen Hyundai’s position in France.”
The expansion of the French team is part of Hyundai’s Vision 2016 growth plan, to increase annual sales revenues from € 9.5bn in 2011 to € 13.7bn by 2016. In line with this ambitious goal, a recruitment drive for new dealers is underway, and Mr Delannoy will be responsible for serving sales of forklifts for new and existing members of the dealer network.
Hyundai HIE has an extensive range of more than 50 models of diesel, LPG and battery forklifts, as well as numerous reach trucks and stackers. For Mr Delannoy, the responsibility of increasing sales of these products is a welcome challenge. “I join Hyundai HIE as part of an international team with a positive attitude and a shared goal: to increase market share with a strong range and a large network that keeps us close to the end-user.
